Every server your projects run on is a virtual server on physical hardware. For virtualisation we use Proxmox with KVM: a proven combination of performance and stability. During maintenance we can move your virtual servers between physical hosts, keeping uptime as high as possible.

Our data matters! What do backups actually look like with you?

At least one backup every 24 hours, on-site and off-site. Restoring a file, a database or a whole project is a click away. In Core, you can also make backups yourself - handy right before a risky update.

Where does my data live, anyway? Europe, right?

Of course! Every data centre is in Europe: currently the Netherlands and Germany, and your server runs on our own hardware. Your clients can impose the strictest privacy requirements and you'll pass them with flying colours. See the data centres or read why we choose Europe.

What happens during a migration, and will my visitors notice?

We tailor the approach per project. Bulk migrations often finish without downtime; webshops or applications with transactional data may need a brief pause so no order or change falls through the cracks. See how our Shift method works.

How fast can I scale up for a campaign or traffic peak?

A resource change is live within a couple of minutes. Schedule it for a quiet moment in advance, or call at 22:00 saying you need more resources now and they get added now. For sustained peak load, it's also possible to run multiple servers in a load-balanced cluster - we're happy to think it through with you.

Is custom work possible?

Yes. With Core you get a rare combination of standardisation and custom work: custom is possible (like a VPN tunnel, or your own CA certificates), but projects always start from a carefully thought-out standard.
