Meet Cyberfusion

We build Core, the first truly managed hosting platform built fully around web professionals: packed with features and conveniences that companies running many or large projects benefit from every day - on top of a solid foundation.

Our scope goes wider. We're the first and only hoster to offer automated security scanning, and we care actively about technology, infrastructure, autonomy, privacy, and where all of that meets society.

A fully automated platform on a stable foundation takes serious engineering and know-how. We build almost everything ourselves, and we never settle for inefficiency.

William started Cyberfusion ten years ago, at 14. You'll join a young, extremely experienced team that lives for the technology - but always reasons from how we make life easier for our customers.

Your work

The work itself is varied, deep, and never the same.

70%
Standby

Once you know our platform inside out, you take on standby shifts outside office hours. Preferably 3 days a week, at least 1. You're compensated per shift. We decide days together, flexibly.

Mentality

You can pick up knowledge - but only with the right attitude.

Linux and open source to the bone.

If someone says "Windows", what do you do? Exactly: run. Linux servers and open-source projects, on the other hand: you get just as fired up about them as we do.

You don't need to know everything on day one.

We don't expect you to know every tool in our stack inside and out. That's not even possible: our platform is hugely complex. As long as you've got the basics and the drive, that's enough.

Quality first, deadlines respected.

You build things you're proud of - you have the freedom and time for that. At the same time, you understand that some things simply have to be finished on time.

Getting things done.

When things don't work right away - and in our field, they rarely do - you come up with creative solutions. "I don't understand" without trying isn't in your vocabulary.

You make decisions and document why.

After interesting discussions, you pick a direction and you can put your choices into words and document them well.

Proactive communication.

If you can't keep an agreement, you let everyone involved know in time. We're strict about this, because the stakes of what we do demand it.

You enjoy being challenged.

You like critical questions from your colleagues - and you ask them right back. The work itself you do mostly independently, but there is always room for discussion.

Available when it truly matters.

In the very unlikely event that a major incident requires all hands on deck - you're there. No Elon Musk here, but this is the reality of mission-critical infrastructure.
