About Cyberfusion

We build Core, the first truly managed hosting platform built fully around web professionals: packed with features and conveniences that companies running many or large projects benefit from every day - on top of a solid foundation.

Our scope goes wider. We're the first and only hoster to offer automated security scanning, and we care actively about technology, infrastructure, autonomy, privacy, and where all of that meets society.

A fully automated platform on a stable foundation takes serious engineering and know-how. We build almost everything ourselves, and we never settle for inefficiency.

William started Cyberfusion ten years ago, at 14. You'll join a young, extremely experienced team that lives for the technology - but always reasons from how we make life easier for our customers.

Is this you?

You want to be proud of what you build.

Fast when possible, but good above all. What is the point of building fast if everything needs to be rebuilt? We do things properly, even when it costs more time upfront. And precisely because of that, we move faster than anyone in the long run.

You want freedom and real responsibility.

No manager breathing down your neck. You decide how you deliver your best work - work that directly benefits hundreds of customers. Yoga mat, rubber ducks, "It Clicked" blasting through the speakers. You decide.

You belong among driven people.

Wondering whether you fit in that group? Then the answer might just be yes. That kind of person doesn't shout it from the rooftops - they simply can't help it. And you can trust each other blindly.

You strive for perfection.

"That's just how we do it" is a cardinal sin at Cyberfusion. The people who fit here question everything: "Why? Does this make sense?" And immediately after: "How can this be better?"

You see the bigger picture.

"Stay in your lane" isn't your thing. Strategy, code, competitive analysis: everyone at Cyberfusion can look over each other's shoulder. You want to know as much as all your colleagues combined.

Grit, not grind.

Late nights to ship a feature do sometimes happen. Outages need to be resolved, fast, 24/7. But the day after, you take that time off. There is no Elon Musk running things here.

No ego.

Great ideas come from anywhere. Title is irrelevant. You embrace feedback, welcome being wrong, and recognise that the best decision wins, not the loudest voice. Ego gets in the way of building good things.

You dig until you find the root cause.

You don't slap a band-aid on a problem and call it done. You want to understand why it happened, validate your findings with data, and fix it permanently so it never comes back.

You bring structure.

Plans, deadlines, priorities: you keep things organised so everyone knows what to do and when. Not because you love process for its own sake, but because it makes the work better and the results more reliable.

Have the Cyberfusion mentality? We'll look at your CV, but what matters more is how you work, how sharp you are, and what drives you.

To be honest

Pressure can be high.

We host mission-critical infrastructure. We do everything we can to keep pressure manageable, but there will be moments where things need to happen fast. That's part of what makes this work meaningful. And part of what makes it intense.

Lunches are Calvinist.

Sorry, we don't have a chef yet. Lunch is mostly bread and cheese, although we compensate about once a week with a delicious vegetarian Lebanese wrap. We will get there, but for now, lower your culinary expectations on the daily.

Not much visible diversity yet.

Take a look at the team. We're working on it. Where we do well: neurodivergent people thrive here. The structured communication, technical depth, and no-nonsense culture are a natural fit.

Frequently asked questions

What are Cyberfusion's core values?
  • Quality - we choose long-term stability.
  • Determined - we do whatever it takes. Working later, going deep on a specific topic, taking the extra step - whatever it is.
  • Reliable - we're there when our customers need us. It's that simple.
  • Crystal-clear - mutual expectations are unambiguous. We say what we do, we do what we say, and we say what we don't do. With customers, and internally.
How much freedom do I have?

On hours, you have plenty of room. Our customers keep office hours, so most days follow that rhythm, but otherwise: if on Monday afternoon you decide you'd rather work elsewhere the day after tomorrow, go ahead. The flip side: if you do that every day, we're less enthusiastic - that's a balance we discover together.

On the work itself, you have real input: what you do, how you do it, and who you work with.

How is quality guaranteed?

All work goes through peer review. We use GitLab for project management with daily updates and weekly goal-setting. We also hold ISO 27001 certification.

What can I expect from my mentor?

William treats team members as equals and expects you to push back on ideas. He values engineering vision, passion, and clear communication.

Is there a dress code?

No dress code (kind of). Wear whatever you want, but leave your onesies at home.

Are there team outings?

Movies at LAB-1 with dinner first are a regular thing. Bigger outings to celebrate wins are on the way.

Why might Cyberfusion not be for me?

We're a small team with high expectations. If you need a large group of colleagues, extensive daily guidance, prefer doing the same kind of work every day, or like working inside strictly defined boundaries - this probably isn't the right fit.

Can I work completely remotely?

No. Hybrid working is normal, but don't expect a fully remote employer. Most colleagues are in the office about 75% of the time.

How will Cyberfusion grow?

Our goal: build an all-in-one platform on which web professionals host, monitor, secure, and optimise all their websites - and become the largest in Europe doing it. Growth will be sustainable. We choose quality over speed, every time.

Does Cyberfusion stimulate my development?

Yes. Through on-the-job feedback, periodic development discussions, a € 1,500 annual training budget, and the flexibility to use your choice budget for even more. The work itself is probably the biggest teacher - it's varied, deep, and never the same.

What can I expect from the owner?

William belongs to a generation of young founders who invest for the long term. He works with people who also think far ahead.

What does my first day look like?

You start at the office. Set up your workstation, get a walkthrough of all systems, and dive into role-specific onboarding. You will have your first real tasks on day one.

What is expected during probation?

Show that you fit our core values: thorough and reliable, with the ability to learn quickly. Above all, we expect the right attitude.

Does Cyberfusion contribute to pension?

Pension arrangements are possible upon request, with employer contribution.

How many vacation days can I buy?

Up to six additional days using your € 1,500 choice budget (€ 250 per day value).

Will I get a parking space?

Yes, if you want one.
