Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out what we expect from you when you use our services. By using our services, you agree to these rules. The AUP is part of our general terms.

What this policy is for
- To provide safe and reliable services
- To promote responsible use of the internet
- To prevent abuse that harms the availability and quality of our services
- To protect the rights, privacy and safety of users, third parties and systems
- To supplement legal obligations with clear rules of conduct
Relation to our Abuse Policy
This AUP is supported by our Abuse Policy. The AUP sets out the rules. The Abuse Policy sets out how we handle complaints and what actions we take when the rules are broken.
Careful use
Behave as a careful internet user. Do not disturb other users or networks. Follow reasonable instructions we give about the use of our services.
What is not allowed
You may not use our services to:
- Post, send or make available information that is unlawful, criminal, discriminatory, defamatory, threatening or obscene
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages
- Access systems or data of third parties without permission (including hacking, phishing and port scans)
- Carry out denial-of-service attacks (DoS or DDoS) or overload systems
- Distribute viruses or other malicious software
- Forge email or network traffic headers
- Intercept, manipulate or read network traffic without permission
Security and duty to report
- Secure your systems and accounts adequately against abuse
- Handle confidential data such as passwords carefully
- Notice abuse, unauthorised access or a data breach? Report it as soon as possible to abuse@cyberfusion.io.
What we do when the rules are broken
In case of a breach we may:
- Issue a warning
- Suspend the service temporarily
- Terminate the service or the contract
- Inform competent authorities when legally required
We apply measures proportionally, in line with the severity of the breach. See our Abuse Policy and NTD procedure for how we handle complaints.
Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP based on technical or legal developments. The current version is always on this page.
